CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 298(FIN) "An Act exempting quarry rock, sand and gravel, and marketable earth mining operations from the mining license tax; and providing for an effective date." 9:25:21 AM REPRESENTATIVE PAUL SEATON, explained that the bill would exempt the mining license tax from sand and gravel operations. 9:25:35 AM Co-Chair Stedman discussed the fiscal notes in the packet. 9:25:45 AM Co-Chair Hoffman MOVED to report CSHB 298(FIN) out of committee with individual recommendations and the accompanying fiscal notes.
